It Really is Possible!
Effective part-time trading is really all about time management. It’s about making the absolute best use of the little bit of time that you have at your disposal. This book is designed to help you do exactly that. It will show you all kinds of things you can do to maximize the time you put in to trading and managing your portfolio.

Clearly, the primary reason for getting in to the markets is to make improvements to one’s financial situation. Most of us trade to make money. You want to grow an asset base, preferably at a rate that is better than one you could get by sticking it in a savings account.
As you trade you must have that as the clear focus. Everything you do must be aimed in that one direction. If it is not, your results will more than likely be disappointing.
There are certain things every trader needs to have in order to achieve success in the markets, whether they are part-time or otherwise. What is different, though, is how much more thought and consideration the part-time trader must give to making decisions on these elements of trading.
The part-timer cannot afford to waste any time, so the whole program needs to be well thought out ahead of time.
In this chapter we will go through the major points of discussion. For some of the points it will only be by way of introduction, as they will be taken up more substantially later on in the book. The rest of the points can, and most likely should be tackled from the outset. The most important of all will lead off.
